Meet Lee Jacobs Senior Art Director

Art Director Lee Jacobs has worked in motion graphics for more than a decade. Starting out in pixels at Teletext, he left a junior role to take up residence at Deluxe Digital Studios before a move to Australia saw Lee settle in Sydney at Flicks, a small film company producing commercials and corporate films.

Eager to get back into the thick of it Lee returned to London and set up as a motion graphics freelancer. and for three years worked on a variety of broadcast and corporate projects.

Life at Jump began in 2009 as a Senior Designer, developing his skills in 2D / 3D animation, design and becoming an Art Director. Pushing his talents to the limit saw ITV’s 2011 Rugby World Cup gain international recognition for its creative and technical excellence.

In 2012 his work was recognised by Time Out and he was awarded a prestigious place on the Hospital Club’s ‘Culture 100′ list of the UK’s most original and influential creatives. Lee has been behind many of Jump’s most successful sequences, most recently the wildly popular title sequence for Channel 4’s coverage of the Rio Paralympics, an ambitious hand animated sequence.
