‘The Trouble with Maggie Cole’ titles are no trouble for Jump
Move over Blair Waldorf, there’s a new gossip girl in town. Jump was commissioned by Genial Productions to create the title sequence for The Trouble with Maggie Cole. Dawn French stars as the lead role in this new ITV drama series.
The Trouble with Maggie Cole is set in a picturesque small coastal town called Thurlbury which has a close-knit community. The series follows the stories and fall out for Maggie Cole, who doesn’t pay attention to the cautionary adage that those in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.
The filming took place in the beautiful coastal village Noss Mayo in Devon. The title sequence features a selection of stunning shots which showcase the area.
Brightly coloured blocks of colour frame the location footage. These create a clean bed for simple stylish animating typography which introduce the cast. The bright colours reflect the sunny disposition of the town … that is before the trouble set in!
