The Hundred Final: Perrie Live Performance
Jump was commissioned by Progress Productions to create animations for a live performance by Perrie at The Hundred Final.
The former Little Mix singer put on a dynamic 15-minute performance between the Women’s and the Men’s Final as the ECB’s flagship new competition came to a close at Lord’s Cricket Ground.
Russell Mann – Technical Director at Jump:
“The job was a quick turn around but a lot of fun. The animations had to have a 1 minute steady build to reveal Perrie’s name and herald her appearance as she was lifted up on a stage lift synced with the music to kick off the opening number of her Hundred Final set. These animations then had to continue for a further 15 minutes during the performance.
We started by building 3D models that matched the real life scissor lift. 3D versions of her logo letters are seen being lifted into view. The sequence starts abstract and builds to the full reveal. The sequence had to work on the large screen and another more tricky version for the perimeter boards that have a very wide and squat format.”
The graphics were built in C4D and composited in After Effects.
