Sport Industry Awards 2022

The Sport Industry Awards 2022 was held at Evolution London with 1,500 sport industry professionals and athletes in attendance. This year was their 21st edition of the event that celebrates and showcases the outstanding work and achievements of the sector in the last year.

Jump is very proud to be the official graphics supplier.

Callum O’Reilly – Senior Designer at Jump:

“For the Sport Industry Awards 2022, we took last year’s colourful rebrand and created a number of striking, radial patterns. These were inspired by the ‘AWARDS’ typography which represents the energy and diversity of the event.

Sport Industry Group have also recently been given a refresh by Jump, so the new font, roundel and colours were also fed into these refreshed graphics for the awards.”

The evening was hosted by Laura Woods and Mark Durden-Smith and saw Tom Daley OBE walk away with the Outstanding Contribution to Sport Award. Human rights lawyer Kat Craig received the Integrity & Impact Award (in Association with InsightX), for her role in the evacuation of the Afghan Women’s National football team from Kabul last year.

We were delighted to see the ECB pick up two awards for The Hundred – for the Data & Insights Award (in association with Sportradar) and for the Event of the Year (in association with Miller). Jump created the event graphics and developed the motion theory for The Hundred which you can read more about here.

As Alastair Campbell said when giving out an award – the sports industry has the power to make big changes in the world. Congratulations to all of the nominees and winners who are doing just that.
